Meet Tony. His family business is Baba Foods and if you've visited a Costco in California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, or Utah, you've probably seen their selection of hummus and Mediterranean dips and spreads. Baba Foods has been at #ocmp for 18 years, learning of the Market Place by word of mouth and starting out here in our overflow program before becoming a permanent vendor. Tony is the youngest of eight children. His mother is Greek and creator of the recipes where they draw inspiration for their products. While his personal favorite is the Chipotle Hummus, the fan favorite is their Three Layer Appetizer dip with feta, pesto, and sun dried tomatoes. They have 22 flavors of hummus, 21 flavors of dips and spreads, 5 flavors of chips, pita bread, and baklava. When Tony isn't at the Market Place or filling warehouse orders, he's a dad to a five-year-old with one on the way. He enjoys watching and playing soccer and staying up to date on the latest world news. And when he is at the Market Place, he and his team are always offering samples of their delicious products to anyone walking through. So be sure to snag a bite and say hello this weekend. You can find them in space D205 and their product online at www.babafoods.com. #vendorfeature

Had a wonderful time here at the Orange County Market Place. Lots of unique vendors down each aisle, wasn't looking for anything in particular but ended up make by a few small purchases. From produce to clothing and even cook wear and bicycles, there is an impressive selection of merchandise. I've been coming here since 1998 and yes it's gotten smaller since I was a kid but still a lot of fun for the whole family.
I love coming here with my hubby & kids! There's something for each of us including good food, snacks & ice cold drinks. This place is well ran, kept up & clean restrooms. Most vendors are courteous & always willing to give a good deal on purchases. We buy lots of nice clothing here for all of us & never disappointed with quality. We buy most of our "tiki" theme items & water fountains here. Also, kitchen home goods, skate boards, toiletries, cosmetics, leather purses, jewelry, kid's toys, cookies, Greek hummus, olives, sun glasses & the list goes on!
I love this place. I moved to Seattle and there is nothing like it up there. I come here every time I come down to visit. The products are mostly all new or hand made, such a great variety and great prices. Even if I don't need anything it's enjoyable just to walk around and enjoy the shopping.
I love this place. Shopping outdoors in Southern California is always enjoyable. I love to visit the booth with the nice wall decor (space # P-100). There is a always a large selection of quality wall art at this particular location. I always buy my wall art, produce, beef jerky (Papa Dan's) and socks at the OC Market Place. Great place to spend the day with the family.
Love love love!!!! I have so much fun when i go shopping here! I walk the numerous aisles for hours usually with a beer and/or wine in my hand. Sometimes they have little shows and concerts. I've saved so much money by shopping here and it's a lot of fun. It's nicely organized and it's nice to walk all the booths. I like the cars and the homes you get to walk through and the RVs. It's a lot different than the swap meets I'm used to. But I love it! I try to go as often as I can!
